  • Most beach communities charge a daily fee ($3-$6) upon payment you're given a "beach tag" to be displayed.
  • Insects are known to carry Lyme Disease and West Nile Virus.
  • Caught in a rip tide, swim parallel to the coast.
  • Beach dog walking is only permitted during off-season.
  • Attendants are required to pump your gas (not yourself) as it's unlawful.
  • Dingman's Ferry Bridge charges a toll in both directions. 
  • New York Waterway has ferry terminals at Belford, Edgewater, Hoboken, Jersey City and Weehawken.
