• Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday tend to be the cheapest days to book. Not always recommended to hold out for any savings with consideration to seat availability, seat location and your travel needs.
• Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday tend to be the cheapest day to fly domestically.
• Wednesday and Thursday tend to be the cheapest days to fly internationally.
• Flexibility with booking airport departures and arrivals may offer substantial savings.
• Rates tend to fluctuate until booked and ticketed.
• Budget friendly airline carriers are not necessarily most cost effective once calculating seat assignment, baggage, etc.
• The earlier the flight the less possibility of flight cancellation and delays.
• Traveling amongst some of the busiest airports do allow for extra time with connecting flights.
• Nobody has successfully cracked the code of the best to and not before changes are imposed.
• If possible, avoid traveling two weeks before national holidays.
• Flights can not be booked 330 days prior to travel.
